X1 offers many different options for narrowing your Files searches along the Favorites Toolbar and the All Searches List to the left of the client.
The Files and Documents tabs display varying results:
Files displays all file types, and even folders, currently indexed on your X1. Documents narrows your results to Microsoft Office and other document types. Refer to the full list of supported document types below.

Please Note: To search by just the above file typs, just input the extension and "=" in the Document Type refine field. You will receive the same search results regardless of choosing Files or Documents.
