X1 can index a PST file through Outlook if it is already part of your Outlook profile. If you intend to scan your PST files directly through X1, make sure to remove them from your Outlook profile first.
PST files are designed to only support one connection at a time. We often see problems related to PST sharing.
The most common cases we see are:
- PST files that have been added to a user's Outlook profile and also to X1 directly
- Attempt to index a PST file that another user is already accessing.
