How do I Disable Indexing?

If you want to temporarily turn off indexing for any of your configured sources, access the Options Window, by either

1a. Selecting Tools>Options;




1b. clicking the indexing Status bar in the lower right corner of the Professional Client interface:



2. The indexing options window lists all of your configured sources.



3. Select the source(s) you wish to stop indexing, and click 'Stop Indexing' to pause that particular source. To stop all indexing,

           click through each content source and select 'Stop Indexing'.


Clear Index Files

If you want to remove your source from your index, please head to the window by selecting Tools>Options>Indexing and clicking Clear Index Files:


Be careful! If you choose to remove your X1 index, you will have to re-index all of the content.
